Beher Acorn Iberic Ham 100%

Our Pata Negra 100% Iberico Bellota Ham is the result of selecting the best pieces that form a limited series and numbered according to the vintage. Hind limb or hind leg from our own 100% Iberian pigs selected from birth and which undergo a traditional curing process. They spend the first stage of their life on our farm, feeding on natural cereals made in our facilities until they reach a weight of between 40 and 50kg, when they access the pastures. In them they enjoy an exquisite diet composed of this selection of cereals as well as grasses, tubers, roots and acorns, reaching 90/100kg at the beginning of October (when the montanera begins), at which time the acorns fall and on which they feed exclusively until they reach an approximate weight of 180kg in their adult stage. This is essential to maintain the Iberian breed and be able to call it acorn-fed Iberian. These Iberian hams, due to the breed that characterizes them and their exquisite diet, have an elongated and stylized shaft with a golden and fluid fat on the outside, while on the inside it shows a pink and melting appearance that floods the mouth with intense and prolonged nuances.
